An Exhibition about Handicrafts in Panaji

Panaji, Feb 19 An exhibition of handicraft product by Nagina Craft Development Society, Nagina (Bijnor), UP is on at Yash Exhibition Centre, Panaji. It began on February 14 and will continue till February 23.

Glass bead jewellery, bone carving, artificial jewellery, woodcraft article, brass inlay work on wood, wooden jewellery boxes, glass bead purse and many more decorative and utility items are displayed in this exhibition.

This exhibition is sponsored by the office of development commissioner (handicraft) ministry of textiles, government of India, New Delhi for the purpose of development and to provide marketing support to the rural artisans. The products brought in this exhibition are prepared by the self help groups of artisans. The aim of the exhibition is to provide the marketing facility to the artisan.
